Specialties was started in 1996 by veteran School
Psychologist, Dr. Barbara Webb. The company specializes
in training and consultation for all aspects of
education for K-12 public and private schools
with a current emphasis on training in the use
of the ADOS diagnostic instrument.
Specializing in areas of special
education, learning disabilities, and autism,
Education Specialties brings to bear many years
of practical hands-on experience in public school
systems throughout the United States. Staff training,
workshops, and seminars are catered to the individual
needs of the client. Assessment strategies, accommodation
plans, and classroom modeling are additional offerings
by our staff.
High Schools are additionally
serviced in the areas of 21st Century Skill Instruction
for educators, Smaller Learning Community (SLC)
development and implementation, Career & Technical
Education programs, and the latest innovations
in Senior Capstone Project and Senior Exit Curriculum
and programs. Transition plan development for
ASD students is a specialty of ours.
